Roda is situated on the North coast about 35km from Corfu town. However by car there are several routes and the direct route will take you across mountain roads some of which are narrow and winding and maybe unsuitable if you are not used to driving here. To reach Road using main roads you can either take the coast road or the main road across the island. The coast road is a little longer at around 40km and should take you just over an hour, if you take the inland route it is about 43km and should take just under an hour. Roda is a small resort next to its neighbours of Acharavi and Sidari but has all the facilities you would expect to find such as Tavernas, bars and shops. The beach here is sandy and is part of the stretch of beach that runs to its neighbouring resorts and the waters are shallow so ideal for young families. Looking back inland you will see the stunning backdrop of Pantokrator with its beautiful valleys running towards the sea. There are wonderful walks to be found inland from Roda.
