Perama is located about 8km south of Corfu town and will take around 10 mins by car. Perama is set along the main road south with houses set on the hills above the road. The beach is set in a small cove like area and has soft singles and sandy areas. You will find sunbed hire facilities on the beach and there are lots of local tavernas, shops and cafes in the area. From Perama you can see the small island of Pontikonisi or Mouse Island as it is better known, with spectacular views of Kanoni over the lagoon area. There is a causeway here and you can walk across the lagoon to Kanoni, it is a fantastic spot to watch the planes land and take of from the airport.
