The resort of Kavos is set in the far south of the Island about 47km from Corfu town and around an hour’s drive. The name Kavos means rocky cape in Greece and is named after Cape Aspro Cavos at the end of the island, which can be walked to, here you will find a small beach and fantastic views down towards the Island of Paxos. Kavos is known as the party resort of Corfu and is dominated by young holiday makers. It is a lively resort with plenty of bars, tavernas, shops and nightclubs. As the resort manly caters to the younger holiday crowd it may not be suitable for families but caters extremely well to those seeking fun packed late nights and plenty of life. There is a long sandy beach in Kavos, which offer water sports activities, plenty of facilities and fantastic views of the Greek mainland.
