Avlaki or αυλάκι in Greek was named after a water furrow that was once there. It lies between Agios Stefanos and Kassiopi on the North East coast about a 40 minute drive from Corfu town but is a regular stop off for the many people that hire private boats for the day. There are two tavernas on the beach and various facilities but Avlaki has remained unspoilt and is flanked by beautiful olive groves and walking paths winding their way round to other nearby secluded bays. Avlaki has a long pebble beach with crystal clear waters with a cool afternoon breeze.
